CRAWFORD CO. ROBINSON, IL

A front-on view of our Crawford County Veterans Memorial Walls

There are several walls involved in the Memorial. The walls contain names of the Crawford County veterans serving in foreign wars from WWII to present. Each of the walls contain etched names of the veterans and are indexed through the wall names/numbers to the names on each wall so that it is a simple task to find an individual's name easily through the wall indexing master list.

CONT. MEMORIAL WALL

In the picture directly above, you can see the WWII, Korean and Vietnam walls in the foreground. Some of the walls have etchings of military scenes depicted on them. Behind the Memorial Walls is the VFW Post 4549 Military Museum which houses many artifacts from the different wars. Many of the items in the display are of the WWII vintage, and several items are unique to this museum.
